Excel count function
This post will show you how to use the Count function. The count function counts the number of items in a list. Unlike the Sum function (which adds up the numbers), the count function tells you HOW MANY NUMBERS in a list. If you want to count the number of names in a list (or a list which has a mixture of text and numbers, you use the CountA function)
