Countif Function
Again, Excel Countif is a function (not always so well known in Excel that has many uses. Let me give you a couple of examples..
- You want to count the number of Nos or Yeses in a list…
- You want to count the number of items in a list that are less than or greater than a particular number.
As with the SumIf function it is limited in that it only allows you to use one criteria. In Excel 2007 and Excel 2010 the countifs function has been added which allows you to use multiple criteria.
